During my final year of studying design at UIC, I took a Professional Practice course that emphasized interdisciplinary collaboration. Partnering with medical students, my team and I developed a prototype for a learning application called Bytes. This iOS app is designed to help users achieve mastery of surgical content using scientifically proven learning methods. As one of three design students on the project, I contributed to crafting an intuitive and effective prototype aimed at enhancing medical education. The experience honed my skills in user-centered design and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
